After going down a short ramp, turn left under the bridge and immediately right on a gangway over the water, on the shore of Lago Superiore. You thus reach the Mincio Rowing Club. Border the dock and turn left at the end of Via Santa Maria, passing through a gate. Keep right behind the houses: a path near the fields leads you to the sign marking the beginning of the Mantova-Peschiera bike trail.
Take the bike trail and cross the municipal road to Soave, to take a dirt road running along the Parcarello canal. Reach the embankment of Diversivo del Mincio artificial canal. Go up the embankment and follow the paved path until the bridge. Cross the bridge and go towards Bosco della Fontana Nature Reserve, which is very worth visiting.
Resume the itinerary and follow the canal, reaching first Soave and then Pozzolo. Cross the river and go down a path on the left. The path winds through the fields; at a certain point it bends to the right, and then you will see an imposing, centuries-old oak on your left. Continue along the path and reach Goito. Cross the village and then reach Sacca di Goito.
You thus enter the Mincio Valleys Nature Reserve, where the river forms a maze of canals, among groves of reeds and floating meadows of wetland plants. Here, many and diverse birds live and find refuge.
Enter Rivalta and reach the old town: near the parish church go down to the port and the museum of Consorzio Naturale del Mincio. Back on the main road reach the crossing with the provincial route and take the cycle lane on the left side until the village of Grazie.
Once entered the village, turn left to reach the square before the shrine, which was erected by Francesco I° Gonzaga as an ex voto. The inner walls show a collection of papier-mâché, wood and wax sculptures, realized as thanksgivings for grace received. Go down to the riverside, from where you can visit the wetland by boat, together with the Mincio River Boatmen.
Exit the square from the left and take the cycling lane to Mantua.
