Outdoor installations between nature and contemporary art

Walking in the green area by the north-eastern shore of Mantua’s Lago di Mezzo - from the stronghold of Sparafucile, made famous by Verdi’s Rigoletto, to the Burgo paper mill designed by Nervi - visitors reach Parco dell’Arte, a contemporary art park where so far 16 works can be admired. Artists were selected through a contest that the cultural association Mantova Creativa has been promoting since 2013, with the support of the Mincio Park Authority and TEA Spa, and under the aegis of the Municipality of Mantua.
